About the Business
The Lincoln Cliff is a Jurrassic Limestone ridge which runs North-South through Central Lincolnshire, bordering the Trent Valley. The A607 follows this geographical landmark and a series of villages have developed along it from Bracebridge Heath, just South of Lincoln, down to Normanton on Cliff near Grantham. These villages are known as 'the Cliff Villages', predominantly built in the local limestone which creates an attractive honey coloured hue to the area. There are a series of large houses built along the Western edge of the Cliff which offer stunning views of the Trent Valley.
The area has excellent local amenities and good transport links, including trains from Newark and Grantham to London King's Cross which take less than an hour and a half. Primary schools in the area have good reputations and are linked in to a network of local grammar schools. At the core of the Cliff Villages, Navenby was reported to be one of the 30 best villages in Britain by The Sunday Times in 2013.
