The firm was founded in 1987 in Ashford as Taylor Riley a partnership, by Michael Taylor and Peter Riley at 67 High Street. At that time the property services included residential agency and in the 1990's they were heavily involved acting for the property arm of the Channel Tunnel High Speed Rail Link selling off surplus properties acquired prior to the construction of the line. With the completion of that contract the firm decided to focus on their expanding commercial agency business, professional services and property management. In 2006 Peter Riley left the firm and Richard Stafford joined in 2007.
