About the Business
The "Fox" name has been associated with estate agency since 1868, when Anthony Stoddart Fox opened a branch of Fox and Sons in Bournemouth. Over the next century, Fox and Sons expanded over the whole of the south of England and in the mid 1980's came to the Isle of Wight.
Since the start of the new millennium, the Isle of Wight offices of Fox Estate Agents have been owned by Simon Wratten, and in 2007 fellow Islander Rachael Harvey joined the board of directors. Both Simon and Rachael remain at the forefront of the business.
Fox Estate Agents have three offices, one in Ryde, one in Cowes, plus an innovative Isle of Wight Internet office, that covers the whole Island. All of the staff working at Fox Estate Agents live on the Island, and are therefore fully equipped to assist buyers coming from the mainland. Despite being an independent Island agent, Fox Estate Agents have maintained links with Fox and Sons and the Fox name continues to be a name that brings people and property together.
